Road Construction We visited a portion of the route which just went under the road construction "knife" early this week. The area under work is the outbound, East turn from Burbank onto Old Hwy 18. This is about an 1/8th of a mile stretch directly before the 13.1, Half Marathon turn around. The 13.1 mile marker is still on paved road.      I spoke to the job site supervisor while there. They plan on having the section, under work, leveled with a road pack mix by Saturday. If the rain holds off, this should not be difficult to run across. Please...
Green Initiative St. Brons Marathon is committed to the Green Initiative. Runners, we ask that you carry water bottles (if they are comfortable in doing so) to reduce water cup usage. We would have water and cups will still be available at all rest stops.
Shoe Blessing Shoe Blessing will be on Saturday, October 11th after the 4PM mass.
Map Updates Updated maps for 2014 are published under Races & Events -> Races
Packet pickup Packet pick-up is on Cedar Street at the Woyak Park Race Start/Finish Line from 3-6PM on Saturday the 11th.
Note from our Security Director There will be no bags, backpacks or purses allowed in the start/finish area. All spectators will need to carry items they require for the event in a clear bag. If they do not, their bag may be searched by security and afterwards they will be asked to return it to their vehicle.Clear bags will be provided at the gear check tent at the start/finish area for race participants. Participants will also be able to check gear at any of the rest stops. All checked gear will be transported back to the start/finish area after the race.
Updated Map After meeting with our security team, we decided to modify the Start/Finish Line road closure, along with a re-evaluation of the traffic movement and parking locations. This has been decided upon for the safety of everyone involved.
